How to Make a Cow Costume
Easy instructions for making a cute, homemade cow costume for Halloween or costume-up, for youngsters or adults.
First, gather the supplies as listed on the provision listing above plus a good pair of scissors and a needle with black thread and white thread.
Use plain paper to chop patterns for the spots. Just draw semi-oval shapes in various sizes. Consult with the pictures of the cows above for ideas. Lay out the paper on the sweatshirt and pants to see how they’ll match.
When you are satisfied with the look, use the patterns to chop the spots out of the black felt.
Lay out the felt spots again to make sure of the location. Observe the directions on the fabric glue or spray adhesive to use the felt to the shirt and pants. Let dry as directed.
To make ears, minimize out a rectangle shape from the felt. Lower a “rounded level” on one finish then fold the 2 corners of the opposite finish collectively and sew to make the cow ear shapes. Use the needle and black thread to sew the ears to the hood.
Minimize a length of rope for the tail (length relies on the person’s height). Braid three lengths of rope together if you want the tail to be thicker. Tie a knot a number of inches from the end then unravel and brush the ends of the “tail” to make it bushy. Use a needle with the white thread to sew the tail to the seat of the pants.
Use part of the rope or a shiny ribbon to tie the cow bell loosely around the particular person’s neck.
Put on white socks and shoes (black is okay if you don’t have white) and consider carrying white gloves or even socks in your fingers to make the 4 cow “legs” match!
That is really all there is to it! Each costume will probably be distinctive depending on the dimensions and number of spots that you utilize, identical to each cow is exclusive!

My recommendation would be if you’re employed in a machine shop do not put on a cow costume to work. One of many guys I used to work with did and his utters saved getting in the way in which. So he wasn’t able to get close enough to what he was engaged on. It was funny but not sensible.
